SASKATOON VOTERS' GUIDE DELIVERED ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11
The Saskatoon Voters' Guide will be delivered on Sunday, October 11, with the Saskatoon Sun newspaper. The Voters' Guide provides information on who can vote, where to vote, and when to vote for the 2009 Civic Elections on October 28.
The Guide also includes ward listings and maps, as well as candidate profiles. Copies of the Voters' Guide will also be at public libraries, Leisure Centres, and City Hall.
Citizens should note that the ward boundaries have changed, so they need to check the maps in the Voters' Guide in order to find their correct ward. They may be in a different ward since the last civic election in 2006.
The Saskatoon Civic Elections are on Wednesday, October 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Advance polls run October 17-24. Eligible voters will vote for Mayor, City Council, and Trustees for the Public and Catholic School Boards.
For more information, please go to www.saskatoon.ca and look under “E” for Election or call 975-3240. People can also follow along with updates posted on Twitter at http://twitter.com/CityClerkMann .
